In order to continue enhancing the educational experiences of our city's youth, Boston Partners in Education relies heavily on our many generous donors and funders. Without them, our innovative support programs and mentoring services would not be the success that they are today. These contributions make a significant impact on Boston's students. Donations allow us to pair trained academic mentors with struggling students, provide tailored tutoring materials that support the public schools' curriculum, and deliver on-site support necessary to ensure a strong positive impact for teachers and students. 

     During the 2006-2007 academic year, for every $1 donated to  
     Boston Partners in Education, $3.75 was created in educational  
     value to the Boston Public Schools (BPS). In total, we provided BPS 
     with over $1.9 million in in-kind services.

     A $500 donation, for example, can provide a rich opportunity for a  
     Boston student. Not only will that student be paired with a highly   
     trained academic mentor, but that $500 also supports a learning plan 
     that includes tailored tutoring materials and on-site support for our  
     volunteers.

Donations to Boston Partners in Education are annually used for volunteer training and communications, tutoring materials, teacher/school communications, program design and updates, donor events, and hiring qualified support staff. We value each donation we receive, large and small, and have set goals to maintain and grow foundation support, enhance and build ongoing corporate partnerships for both volunteer recruitment and financial support, develop an individual donor program and attract working capital to build internal capacity.
