Volunteer Support Sessions will be held monthly on Monday evenings - 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM on the 7th floor at 44 Farnsworth Street, Boston.  Sessions are designed to allow volunteers to come together and share common experiences, challenges and to problem solve as a professional community of academic mentors.  To do this effectively, please bring with you a problem or dilemma that you have not been able to solve or resolve and would like some advice from your peers.  These dilemmas should be complex, challenging and relevant to instruction, students and the classroom.  We will use a set of protocols, similar to what teachers use to analyze and find solutions to classroom based issues.

Also, every month we will bring someone from the field of youth development and education to discuss and share some perspective on supporting young people in their development. An email will be sent prior to the session to remind everyone about the upcoming date, as well as to announce the name of the presenter.
